Here is a place of reclamation.
A place of bringing our bodies back to ourselves.
Bringing ourselves home.
You are very welcome to be here.
My Story
Two years ago, in deep trauma, burnout, overworked and on the edge, I came home. To begin anew life in a tiny home, in a field on what used to be the family farm with my daughters. To bring myself back to the wild child I was growing up, and to give my daughters the space to discover their truest selves. To remember my roots and rebuild myself from the soil up. To find out who I really was, without constantly being told who or how I should be.
Living close to the land, I'm rewilding not just myself, but also the space around me. Growing Wilder is rooted in nature connection, healing, and regenerative practice.
I started with plants, my first love. But the trees quickly called louder and my love for them deepened.
Here, I've been slowly rebuilding from the soil up. Healing. Listening. Reclaiming.
Why I Do This Work
I know what it's like to survive trauma. To navigate systems that don't believe you. To rebuild yourself when everything has fallen apart. I've lived through domestic abuse, the family courts process, burnout, and the profound challenge of healing from C-PTSD whilst parenting two young daughters.
I also know what it's like to be neurodivergent in a world that wasn't designed for how your brain works. To navigate perimenopause and menopause whilst trying to hold everything together. To feel like you're constantly masking, constantly trying to be someone you're not.
And I know what saved me: nature. The woodland at the edge of my field became my sanctuary. I felt better when I spent time there, calmer, more myself. I discovered there was something called Forest Therapy that explained what I was experiencing – and I knew I had to share this with others.
My Training & Approach
I'm a qualified Forest Therapy Practitioner, trained with Lightbox in Bristol, and hold outdoor first aid certification. But more importantly, I bring lived experience to this work. I understand trauma, neurodivergence, menopause, and the particular challenges women face when navigating these experiences.
My sessions are trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, and created with deep understanding of what it means to need a safe space to simply be.
Where I'm Based
I live in rural Lancashire on a 4-acre farm that's become a place of healing – for the land and for me. My field sits beside a 1-acre woodland my Dad planted 30 years ago, and this woodland has been my sanctuary throughout my own healing journey.
This land has its own story of reclamation. What was once an abandoned field is slowly transforming into something beautiful – natural ponds, native wildflowers, medicinal herbs, and trees. Lots of trees.
We share this space with Roe deer, owls, sparrowhawks, buzzards, wild rabbits and hares, rescue chickens, a cat called Ralph, and countless wildbirds. There's lots of sky here, and even more peace.
While I'm still developing the infrastructure to host sessions here on the farm, I currently run Forest Therapy sessions in beautiful woodlands, parks, and nature reserves across Lancashire. Each location is carefully chosen to provide a safe, peaceful space for connection and healing.
Beyond Forest Therapy
Growing Wilder is about more than guided sessions in nature. I also:
- Grow trees, plants, and medicinal herbs
- Create handmade balms, magnesium oils, space sprays, and lotions through my brand Luna Blu Kitchen
- Offer permaculture and growing sessions in my field
- Have started a membership of nature and connection for Women called Wilder Within.
- Have created toddler journals and bespoke personalised doodle books
Everything I create comes from the same place: a desire to help others reconnect with nature, with themselves, and with their own wild, authentic selves.
My Life Now
I live in a tiny home at the bottom of the field with my two young daughters, close to my parents' home. We make things together – we love clay, crochet, and painting. We drum, dance like nobody is watching, drink cacao, and attend conscious festivals together. Life here is simple, creative, and deeply connected to the land.
I'm still healing. I'm still learning. I'm still growing wilder.
And I'm here to hold space for you to do the same.
Who I Work With
I work with individuals, groups, and organisations of all kinds. While I'm passionate about supporting women – particularly those navigating perimenopause and menopause, neurodivergent women (autistic, ADHD, AuDHD), and survivors of domestic abuse and the family courts process – my sessions are open to anyone seeking gentle, trauma-informed support in nature. All are welcome, just as you are.
I'm building relationships with women's charities, GP surgeries, and hospitals for referrals, as I'm committed to making these sessions accessible to those who need them most.
You belong here. You are safe here. You are welcome here.
