For Healthcare and Community Professionals
Supporting Patient Wellbeing Through Nature Connection
As a qualified Forest Therapy Practitioner, I work with medical professionals to support patient wellbeing through evidence-based nature connection sessions.
What is Forest Therapy?
Forest Therapy is a research-based practice that supports mental and physical health through guided immersion in nature. Sessions are designed to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, improve mood, and enhance overall wellbeing.
Session Options
Group Sessions: Regular time in local woodlands, parks and nature reserves across Lancashire
1-to-1 Sessions: Tailored support for individual patients with specific needs
Corporate Wellbeing: Sessions for healthcare teams and staff wellbeing programmes
Trauma-Informed Approach
All sessions are delivered with a trauma-informed, inclusive approach, with particular experience supporting women through perimenopause, neurodivergent individuals, and survivors of trauma and abuse.
Social Prescribing & Referrals
I welcome referrals from GPs, mental health practitioners, and other healthcare professionals as part of social prescribing initiatives. Forest Therapy sessions can complement traditional treatments for:
- Stress and anxiety
