Join a group session of Forest Therapy with Rachael at Haslam Park, Preston on Thursday morning at 10am.
Also known as Forest Bathing or Nature Immersion, this is a gentle, evidence-based practice that supports your wellbeing through deep connection with nature.
As a fully qualified and insured Forest Therapy Practitioner, I guide you through a gentle sequence of invitations to help quiet the mind, balance the nervous systems, and reconnect with your senses. Together, we will create room for rest, reflection, and reconnection — with the land, with your inner self, and with each other.
You don’t need to be fit, forest-savvy, or spiritual — just willing to go slow.🌿
How It Helps
Spending time in nature like this has been shown to:
• Regulates the nervous systems
• Reduce stress, anxiety, and depression
• Improves focus, mood and sleep
• Boosts creativity and emotional clarity
• Lower blood pressure and boost immunity
• Support emotional regulation and resilience
• Offer deep rest, reflection, and reconnection✨
What to Expect
• Sessions usually last 2–2.5 hours
• We move slowly through the landscape with a flow of gentle sensory invitations
• Time for stillness, optional sharing, and simply being with nature
• Each session closes with a tea ceremony and grounding practice
• Comfy, weather-appropriate clothing encouraged
All are welcome — especially those feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or tender-hearted.
I offer both group sessions and 1:1 private sessions.
Wear comfy clothes and prepare for the weather — nature is our co-guide, rain or shine
